Hypnotherapy is able to transform negative thoughts, enhance positive self-regard, and facilitate deep emotional healing. 

By guiding patients into a deep (and very relaxing) trance, the hypnotherapist is able to communicate more directly with the unconscious - a powerful part of the brain that is responsible for our instinctive thoughts and behaviours. Positive, empowering, and nurturing hypnotic suggestions delivered to the unconscious can guide the mind to better recognise our skills and resilience, or think differently about a challenge we are facing. This enables us to grow our self-confidence, motivation, and problem-solving abilities, whilst experiencing a calming and relaxing therapy.

Hypnotherapy additionally has the ability to influence physical aspects of the body, including the stress response, pain-signals, the immune system, and the sleep-cycle. This offers patients a psychological and holistic approach to resolving many health concerns. The effects of hypnotherapy are long-term, and capable of producing lasting and permanent results. 

Fear not - no pocket watches are required for hypnotherapy! The therapist will guide you into a relaxing trance using a combination of therapeutic visualisations and hypnotic story-telling. A full explanation of hypnosis will also be offered before your first experience of this technique, and all therapy adheres to a strict code of ethics in accordance with BSCH, AHSM, & CNHC policy.
